I have had the urge to create art for nearly all of my life; it has always been a part of my very being.

To me art is as basic a necessity as water or food, and can be utilized in so many ways to enrich our lives.

Although I have tried creating many styles and forms of art, it is my love of realism which permeates nearly everything I undertake. I see this world as a precious gift and hope to reflect this perception in the works I create.

I feel especially heartened by studies that reflect the necessity for art in life. This is of particular importance to me as I believe that art as a whole is a mark of human civilization and one of the best reflections of a culture. Truly life in its fullest sense cannot be enjoyed without it.
